Some of the best recipes were never written down.
They're passed hand to hand — learned by watching, helping, and tasting along the way.
This apron was made the same way.
Handwoven in Oaxaca — one of Mexico's oldest weaving towns — on a traditional wooden foot loom , telar de pedal, using a technique handed down through generations for more than 500 years. The stripes and braided detailing are picked in by hand, thread by thread, as the cotton is woven. No two exactly alike.
For the man who guards his recipes, sears his own steaks, and knows the right tools matter — this is an apron with a story worth wearing. The kind he reaches for every Sunday, and is still wearing ten years from now.
Built to work: two large front pockets for towels and tongs, a utility loop at the waist, and a chest pocket for the things you want close. Adjustable neck strap and generous 40" waist ties for a comfortable fit on nearly any frame.
